Here’s what you need to know:
- Past SG Madness winners are ineligible
- If you’re wondering why stars like Ryan Gosling aren’t on the list, that’s why. Past winners are celebrated for their contribution to the men’s style pantheon of inspiration, but not eligible for future competition.
- Your fashion fave has to be booked and busy to make the cut
- Sometimes celebs go underground for a while—maybe they’re filming a new movie or working on a top-secret project. But the point is, if we didn’t see enough of a star this year, for whatever reason, he isn’t here.
- Stylish guys who’ve got bad vibes don’t get an invite to the dance
- You’ve searched the bracket and don’t see your personal celeb style inspo. If the celebrity isn’t a past SG Madness winner, is frequently in the public eye, but still didn’t make the cut? Well, tere’s a good chance he gives our team the ick. As such, he doesn’t get a seed to compete for the title of most stylish man of 2025. We’d encourage them to try therapy, and maybe he’ll get invited to the dance next year.

- Not a perfect science, obviously, but a relatively objective system! That makes Timothée Chalamet, LeBron James, Post Malone, and Bad Bunny this year’s #1 SG Madness seeds.
